Jason Beam

Jason Beam is an Artist, Illustrator and Graphic Designer. Just one glance of his portfolio leaves you with the sense of a man who is working very hard to blend the realms of Surrealism and Dark Fantasy to create a very distinctive style of Dark Art. "I wanted to illustrate emotion, beauty and sensuality intermixed with the dark, the distorted, and the tragic. I did not want to follow the current genre of style, but develop a more realistic/surrealistic style that was more dreamscape than nightmare. Much of my early work reflected personal emotional issues, but as I got older and those issues began to resolve, I set out to illustrate stories that inhabited our collective conscious."
